Sweet 16

A few weeks ago John and I shot Tiffany’s Sweet 16 Party.  This was the first one I have ever done, and I really loved all the details of the whole night.  It was such an uplifting experience, especially seeing how Tiffany included all of her loved ones in a day that was for her.  They also made the decision to do a photo booth, which you know I think is always a good one to make!  Thanks to Elsie for having us be a part of such a special night .

Amy & Mo ~ Family

So in the middle of last weekends marathon day of shooting, which by the way I loved so much I am doing it again tomorrow (stay tuned), I got the chance to take photos of Amy’s wonderful family.  We had a great time walking around Southford Falls.  They are such a sweet family, and I mean seriously how handsome are their boys.

Mariah & Mackenzie (Victoria too!)

Melody and I finally got the chance to get together for a photo shoot with her two adorable daughters.  I think it was well worth the wait!  As an added bonus she brought her niece Victoria with her.  All three of the girls were a lot of fun, John and I had a great time with everyone!  Here are a few of my favorites from the day.

Jen & Mark ~ NYC Engagement

Last weekend Team Dolce headed to the city.  Jen and Mark were awesome, really fun and up for trying anything we threw at them.  It was pretty cool to be in the city for the first time since starting photography.  It is like a whole new world and nearly every inch is a spot for an amazing shot.  We had a great time, even when we were getting kicked out of a park (stay tuned for the illegal shot of the day)!  Here are a few favorites, it was definitely hard to choose.

The shot that broke the rules…

Erin & Andy

There is only one word to describe Erin and Andy’s wedding… FABULOUS…amazing, beautiful, fun…actually I guess there are a few words to describe it.  This was our first “destination” wedding ( all the way to Jersey) The travel was so worth it.  They got married at The Palace in Somerset.  I highly recommend it, and also highly recommend us if you are getting married there.  Erin and Andy are an awesome couple; very fun, funny, and very much in love.  It was great working with you guys! Thank you so much for having us be part of your day.

Cara & Matt’s Wedding

Cara and Matt got married a few weeks ago, and Christa and I were fortunate to be able to shoot this wedding, and an added bonus was that Crista Acosta was there to shoot with us.  Cara and Matt are an absolutely adorable couple, full of love for each other and for every single person in the room.  They are also pretty amazing people on their own, which we learned in two of the best speeches I think I have ever heard.  We did most of the formals in Hartford’s City Hall, which is worth every bit of the work to get into to do them.  Cara and Matt completely rocked the photos.  Like Christa said I heart this couple too.

Best first dance and cake moments coming up…

And one of my favorites ever

Luis & Erica’s Wedding

A few weeks ago Luis and Erica got married!  This was a fabulous wedding for a few reasons; Frankie came with me (and did an amazing job), I absolutely love Erica and Lou (they are the type of people you want to be friends with after spending a few hours with them), their friends and families are awesome, and they are totally in love with each other.  I switched it up and actually spent the morning with the bride, and I had a great time! Normally I hang out with the guys, but Frankie had that pleasure for this one.  Everything was beautiful, and everyone there was there out of the love they have for this couple.  They had a very moving ceremony at their church and then we headed off to The Villa Bianca, where there was an amazing Salsa Band waiting for everyone, and believe me they tore.it.up.  Thank you guys so much for choosing us to be a part of your day, we had an awesome time.

One more… the best garter moment ever

Turning the lens on… Christa

I have honestly been waiting for this shoot since Christa and I started doing photography.  She is gorgeous, her dress is gorgeous, and throw in The AMAZING Crista Acosta to shoot with me=ummm yes please!

And one out~take, because she even recovers from a fall beautifully

Andrea & Dan

A few weeks ago Andrea and Dan got married.  Christa and I were fortunate to be the ones to captures their day, and what an amazing day it was.  From the church to the reception venue and everything in between this wedding was awesome.  The band had people out and dancing before dinner was even served, everyone was just so happy for this wonderful couple.  One of the coolest parts of the night was the photo booth.  I absolutely love that so many people came out to be part of it, and was especially happy when Andrea and Dan joined us!  This was definitely a wedding to remember, and we really look forward to working with them in the future.  Here are some of my favorites from the night.
