This session was one of my favorites! Not only are Sara and Grace awesome people, but they are an amazing couple, totally natural and affectionate when the camera was on and off. John and I had a great time with them and can’t wait to meet baby soon!

You’ve seen the maternity… you’ve seen the birth… but you haven’t seen anything until you see this beautiful baby boy. Miles was one little baby that kept so many of us on our toes while we waited for his arrival. As soon as you see those big baby blues and pinchable cheeks, you know he was well worth the ride.

When John & Rachel first asked me to photograph the birth of their highly anticipated third baby, I was psyched! I mean how many people are fortunate enough to even be in the room while their friends have a baby, let alone capture it. Then reality sank in, I had so many questions; would I be able to get there in time, would I be able to show the amazing love they have for each other, would I be able to not pass out and in the event that I don’t pass out be able to get any photos through the tears that were sure to come. Luckily the answer to all was yes! I simply can not put into words what an amazing experience this was. To see such pure, deep love unfold in front of me was something I will never forget. Thank you so much to John and Ray for letting me be a part of this day, it means much more than I can properly say.

Get used to seeing this beautiful face on my blog a lot in my upcoming posts. In addition to being one of my very best friends, she is one of the best mothers I have ever seen. Being able to go along for the entire journey of Rachel and John’s 3rd child has been an incredible honor.

When Crystal, the maid of honor for Sam & Travis, asked me to shoot her’s and Shawn’s wedding this year I jumped at the chance. You would have a hard time finding a more laid back, loving couple. Add their two beautiful children, and a backyard DIY reception; and I couldn’t have been more excited. The day was everything I knew it would be; great friends, great family, a ton of love to go around, and an absolute joy to be a part of.
